Sources of eu primary eu law: - treaty of maastricht, amsterdam, nice, lisbon. These treaties were concluded by the member states of the eu secondary eu law: - law created by the eu itself -> institutions, case law of ecj. Creates binding legal effects -> regulations, directives, decisions regulations: - rules, like normal legislation = binding + direct applicable in all member states directives: - special type of legislation (not directly imposed by eu) Directed to member states: have to implement them in their national system.
