As the temperature rises, so does everyone"s hate and bigotry causing an outburst of violence. The scene i chose to analyze is from where the song begins and we see a shot of newspapers until the man appears in his convertible. (chapter 9 [all of it]: 25:10-27:50). The film was very well received publicly and even received academy award nominations. This success can be widely attributed to the unique plot as well as the sounds used that give this film a standout atmosphere. Ever since the jazz singer, initially released in 1927, which featured the first soundtrack of its time, sound has become an important factor to creating a powerful and engaging film.
