People may s@ll vote for another party while keeping @es to the other party. Theory of party iden@ ca@on is useful in understanding vo@ng behavior and long term pazerns of support for di erent par@es. Factors such as leader preferences and campaign issues have increase in signi cance: many voters decide how to vote during the elec@on campaign. Leaders: analysis found that the personality traits of the party leaders had a signi cant e ect on voters.
