Sociol grads are competitive w other fields of study on wages and employment but are less satisfied w their degrees. But it is hard to make an argument bc they are basically invisible. Most inds go on to other degrees after their ba and id as that. Prob a bunch of inds who graduated if we include inds who have got another job, or immigrants. The decline can be explained by the slow growing public employment factor where many have originally found work, getting a mix of edu, and what they self report about their degrees. What to uncover who they are, what they do, how they fare in the workforce, and what they self report about the value of their degrees. Rely on stats from 5 statistics canada sources: canadian census, national household survey, national graduates survey, annual profiles of higher edu, edu directorate of stats can. Can look at inds who have their highest degree in sociol.
