Prior to 1935, it was believed that all of social psychology studies consisted of attitudes. Major topic in social psychology, thousands of literatures (i. e. ) attitudes towards exotic food (snake, alligator, crickets, octopus) can be positive or negative attitude. Human attitudes are not predictable in general correlation between attitude and behaviour is not very strong we may say one thing but behave in a opposite manner. Attitudes: attitudes are evaluations of ourselves, of other people and issues with some degree of favor and disfavor. Bases of attitude: the three bases of attitudes are: Affect: emotions or feelings stimulated by the object of an attitude, gut feeling, not rational or governed by logic. Also associated with physiological reaction strong feeling towards something. Behavioural intention: disposition to act in a certain way, self- perception distinct between what you say and what you end up doing.
