Etiquette & social manners are social scripts contributed to the culture transmitted from a generation to the next. Socialization: refers to the lifelong social learning that a person undergoes to become a capable member within society ( the connection of socialization & culture: socialization entails mostly the learning of one"s culture). Socialization is social because through social interactions, and responses to social pressures that people learn the culture and internalize the expectations of the communities that they belong to. The internalization of these social expectations causes one to learn norms, beliefs, values and help one to develop a self concept also known as an identity. Culture (human environment includes all of the objects, institutions, organizations that make up a social environment of human life) includes shared values, as well as an array of practices and performances acquired socially. Ex. a love for hiphop, covering mouths when coughing.
