Document Summary
The purpose of this project is to examine an individual s self-motivation and the difference it makes while recovering from an injury. During the time of recovery, patients undergo a difficult time; many of them struggle with the lack of physical ability now brought on to body. Patients are challenged by their therapist during clinical settings to return their body back to its normal, pre-injury state, by performing numerous exercises and drills. The therapist are there motivating their patient every step of the way. Self-motivation will be needed by a patient in order for them to complete difficult day to day tasks until their body is back to normal. It not only allows an individual to have an impact in their physical training but also allows them to believe in themselves. When a person believes in themself, they are capable of anything.
