Introduction

The "labor-leisure" tradeoff is the tradeoff encountered by wage-earning humans here between a number of hours spent on disagreeable wage-paying work and the sense of fulfillment of unpaid time, particularly hands-on experience in "leisure" activities and the use of time for critical self-maintenance.
