In book 21 - achilles goes on a killing rampage. Zeus is no longer bound by his promise. Hector"s parents plead with him to enter troy. Father tells appeal to hector by making it personal. Achilles turns and runs back to walls where hector is waiting for him. Nothing erotic about mother baring breast to hector (son) Parents beg him to return to city. Curses reasons why he can not return to troy. Doesn"t want to be shamed (if he was to run away) Shame is what hero"s avoid most of all. Hector lives fully by heroic code by choosing to die.
