Fear overwhelms: achilles terrifying, isolation from family, people, gods, torn in different direction/expectations (universal) Images of runners and horses, connected with an epithet: foreshadowing, gods as spectacles, trojan landscape in times of peace. Athena helps achilles: disguised as deiphobus. (ector"s courage in achilles armour: absence of hope but still goes. Achilles cruelty: takes (ector"s body ties it on chariot, ultimate dishonor.
