Internal validity: whether your study/experiment supports casual relationship b/w a and b. Sampling error: diff. b/w sample estimates and pop. values (decreases w/ n) Non -response error: occurs when those who don"t respond are diff. ---> looking for holes in demographic samples and follow up more extensively with non responders. Interviewer effect error: creates bias in how respondents answer questions. Social desirability: give answers interviewers want to hear. Acquiescence: culturally biased tendency to agree w/ others. Measuring error: occurs when questions misunderstood/incorrectly answered. Grounded theory: develop theory based on observations.
