Background and context
Diabetes Mellitus is a hormonal disease that occurs due to the inability of cells to take up or metabolize glucose. In this condition blood, glucose levels increase and lead to the excretion of glucose with urine. Diabetes Mellitus is of two types namely type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes and type 2 non-insulin-dependent diabetes.
