• A plan is a statement of intended means for accomplishing objectives
• There are 5 sequential action steps in the systematic planning process:
- Define your objectives
- Determine where you stand in relation to objects
- Develop premises regarding future conditions
- Analyse and choose among alternative actions
- Implement the plan and evaluate the results
