  • How does OneClass work?

    OneClass is a community of over 4 million+ university students sharing valuable course content such as lecture notes, textbook summaries and exam study guides. OneClass works on a credit system. Students contribute their own self-created documents and receive OneClass credits for their uploads. With OneClass credits, they are able to unlock notes and other study material from OneClass.

  • Is using OneClass considered cheating?

    OneClass does not allow for any type of prohibited content to be uploaded to the site, including documents that are: copyrighted documents created by professors or instructors, including but not limited to: powerpoint slides, assignment questions, past exams, textbooks, e-textbooks, published articles, journals. By signing up to become a user of OneClass, all users must agree to abide by their policy on plagiarism and submission of any copyrighted material. In any cases where there is alleged infringement, all inquiries will receive a response within 48 hours. Any user found to be in violation of the site 's policies will be suspended and all offending documents will be immediately removed. Furthermore, we work closely with faculty members and professors in ensuring that the site’s guidelines on plagiarism and copyrighted content is in strict accordance with as many academic institutions as possible.

  • What kind of notes are allowed/not-allowed on OneClass?

    We only accept uploaded documents that are 100% created by students. The following types of documents are accepted on OneClass.com: lecture notes, textbook notes, chapter summaries, study guides.

    • copyright documents created by professors or instructors, including but not limited to: powerpoint slides, assignment questions, past exams, textbooks, e-textbooks, published articles, journals, syllabi;
    • homework, labs, assignments, essays;
    • duplicate documents;
    • single page documents with little or no information;
    • one full set of notes separated into multiple documents in order to gain additional credits.
  • How do I get a school credit transferred?

  • Who contributes the notes?

    All the notes you see and find on OneClass are created by top university students that have taken or may be currently taking the same courses as you. They share their valuable course notes in order to help new students and also receive rewards from OneClass!

  • How are notes screened?

    We use a rigorous system to evaluate each set of notes that is uploaded to the OneClass platform. Our loyal community of users have the ability to flag documents they see as unrelated or irrelevant. As well, we have an internal audit team that checks over all documents on a daily basis.

  • Can I preview OneClass notes before purchasing?

    We want all users to be able to get a good idea of what they’re spending their hard-earned credits on. That’s why we provide a preview of the document so that you can get a sense of what the content is like before you use your credits to unlock them. For users with a subscription, you can unlock documents to view the contents.

  • How to delete a OneClass account?

    To request closure of your OneClass account, just send us an email to [email protected] and we will be able to assist you with your request right away.
