Accommodation: required to change goals, assumptions or identities. 8 psychosocial stages: one stage builds on the next, possible, but difficult, to reverse a negative outcome. Crisis: the process of resolving competing forces. Relatively unstable in terms of study/job changes, r/ships, housing. Self-focused, relatively free of obligations & therefore free to focus on psychological needs in b/n; dealing with possibilities. Engagement: developing a good relationship between young people & social-community resources. Generativity: the opportunity to contribute & give back to the next generation.
