- Renal pelvis (hollow for collection of urine)

- Renal artery (20% of blood) and vein

- Ureter

- Bowmans capsule- blood pools in capillaries

- Loop of henle-set ups counter-current mechanism

No leakage (only small molecules like water and electrolytes)

Filtration

- Membrane

o Endothelium (capillary), base membrane, inner layer of bowmans= podocytes

- Filters everything into the water then takes it back out if wrong. No specialised thing to say

what to put in

- Arteries change pressure via vasoconstriction/dilation
