Keating redfern speech 1993 acknowledging dispossession and rudd"s sorry day speech. Aboriginal reconciliation movement in the 1990s: mabo decision 1990 and native title act 1992. Largely about acknowledging the stolen generation, and less acknowledgement of frontier wars. In over two decades aboriginal history has been debated, and the legitimacy of nationhood and aboriginal land rights. Disputes about the ease of which native title can be claimed, based upon the decision of the judge only. No memorials for frontier wars, only memorials for key massacres. Canberra and other major capital cities are keen to have wwi&ii memorials, but no frontier war memorials.
