Before augustas came into power, there was 7 other kings. Augustas does everything himself - all the ministries. Romans had cloths on for the most part. Stance - his hand is raised = heroic stance. Apollo was one of the favourite gods of augustus. Held something made of a di erent material likely. The right hand has a curved index nger, which is unusual for pointing it probably held an object. The left hand also seems to curve around something round. He has all the high o ces now. If a cloak/toga is over the head than he is a priest or associated with the church. Might have been an o cial portrait somewhere. Standard - consistent claw-like pattern in his hair. Very easy to identity augustus because of his hair.
