The twenty years crisis, 1939 period between the 2 world wars was marked by the continued legacy of the failings of the treaty of versailles (no one truly walked away happy, esp. Viewed ww2 as a consequence of this 20yr period: carr"s juxtaposition. Liberalism is essentially putting the cart before the horse. Practice drives theory, not the other way around. Liberalism drove the creation and points in the treaty of versailles. Imagination: liberals implement a view of the future that was based on what the world should look like, not the way it is.
