Understanding mcdonaldization begins by understanding the process of rationalization. Tasks are then broken down into smaller, simpler tasks. The goal to find the most efficient way of completing each task (like, fool-proofing) The end result is a step-by-step process can be completed the same way every time to produce a desired outcome. How well each stage is performed or how good the final product is can be quantified & measured.
