Woman"s status and woman"s rights - oct 3. There are many more women than males going into tertiary education. There are 1. 7 million canadian students in uni. If (cid:455)ou do(cid:374)"t ha(cid:448)e a high s(cid:272)hool degree, (cid:455)ou are (cid:374)ot likel(cid:455) to get a jo(cid:271) If you have a high school degree, but nothing more, it is still very hard to get a job. Post-secondary edu, you are more likely to get a job - that"s (cid:449)hat pla(cid:272)es look for. But there are so (cid:373)a(cid:374)(cid:455) (cid:373)ore people competing for these jobs, so even with the high education it is hard to find jobs. In 2008 , 62% of females were university graduates. Women seem to be better educated than men in canada at this time. What is happening to the men and education: Males in school are treated with more privilege. Society teaches men to not be a nerd, to be aggressive, assertive, etc
