Men and women in the global north want access to cheap exoticised bodies of people in the global south. Global south suffering of poverty look at the opportunity myth of making connections with people of the global north. Ghana: economic crisis in 70s/80s, political factors, conditions of repaying loans = deregulation of government (laying off workers), 40% in poverty. Due to extreme poverty, young women were targeted for sex tourism with men from the west. Women with access to the internet (uni age) to engage in it without regulations. Young women and the primary labour force: Enforcement of ilo (int labour organisation) standards for labour and human rights.
