Its not required, but you have permission to start playing with it: how well he can start distorting the anatomy. On the reference, look for the underlining skeleton form: most of stuff may be pretty exaggerated. It"s quite interesting when you start seeing how hard it is to make the anatomy fit. If you identify where the skeletons are, you can see the muscles and it will make sense: different from clinical anatomy course, figure aren"t moving a lot, relates to dynamic movement. We have two more weeks of lectures. Pick your reference now, sort out and try to come up with your ideas. Look for those structures and identify them before you do the muscles overlay. Learn it by trying to apply it in a situation.
