Maturation theory: we don"t need nurture side, we do things on an average time. Something exists in our body, society exists because we were once adapted to it. The cuteness of babies, stimulate certain brain areas. The cuteness makes you tolerant to all the disturbing activities kid does. Critical period: child should be exposed to learn. Mechanism by which the kids will imprint and model to the first thing they see. The organization of neurons in the brain and how it flourishes: contextual theory. The educational background of parents can be a predictor of family status in which the child grew up in. Not direct neighbors or friends but will be specific to you. Macro: big system, cultural expectations, geographical location. Gender roles within a culture: learning theory. Classical conditioning: this explains the development of phobias. Positive reinforcement: add something positive to encourage a behavior. Negative reinforcement: remove something to encourage a behavior.
