People started to migrate in the cities, enclosure movement: rapid population growth. Along with the advancement of technology, there was increase in life expectancy rate. Decrease in infant mortality rate with ultimately lead to high population: transition from traditional society to modern society in which modern industrial society is focused, definition of sociology. Even though the main focus is on social functioning of humans, sociology doesn"t ignore individuals. To understand the actions of individuals one must understand the social context of action. Human society only exist when there is constant reproduction of interactions and social activities: sociology as a science.
