Pina fibre even though it is a hard fiber it can be used for textile. Found in central america prefers an aired climate, down to northern part of south. They form something familiar to a sword. It is from this compressed stem that it will formulate starch. Sisal fibre is extracted from the succulent leaves. Used as a source of food because it has a lot of starch- sap will be produced- alcohol could be produced. Sisal fibres are 1m in length and are attained form outer mature leaves. In ancient aztec and mayans time originally sisal was used for rope and coarse garments. Today the fibres is used for making rope, string and floor mars. Pina fiber is from pineapple (ananas comoscus) leaves. English pineapple is for fruits resemblance to a pine cone; pina is the spanish name for it. Christopher columbus thought this plant looked like a pinecone, thus this is why it is called pineapple.
