Update probability: (can never be 1 but can be 0. ) Change independent variable and measure changes in dependent variable. Never accept anything as true that you don"t clearly know to be so. Divide each difficulty into as many parts as possible. Start with the simplest and easiest to know and progress little by little to more complex. In every case make enumerations so complete and reviews so general that you can be sure nothing was omitted. Pragmatic: uses anything that works: deduction, induction, experiments, mathematics; excludes everything that doesn"t work. Continuous process of refinement of the method itself.
