Criteria varies but could include: ongoing sexual relations, duration of cohabitation, hold of a joint living address. Canada revenue agency (2014: a person who is not your spouse, with whom you are living in a conjugal relationship, and at least one of the following situation applies. Living with you in a conjugal relationship, and this current relationship has lasted at least 12 continuous months.
