prejudice – not everything you choose to do can be prejudice but only a form of experience

He didn’t just teach, he wrote

“phursis” greek word for nature – similar to “physics” aka defining the laws of nature
what defines real?
- we know that our ideas are real
**brain and the vat
we have radically difference senses and we don’t always agree on the same thing
metaphysics
- assumes that reality has a nature that can be explicated
- we choose to call certain things real
rules of nature are metaphysically grounding
we have to trust that certain things are real because we can only go off of our experiences and we cant
walk around while being afraid that bad things are going to happen
some things depend on various factors and have for sure outcomes…
-i.e it is raining… so the ground will be went
BUT
- if the ground is wet we cannot automatically say it was raining
