Police (front lines they are the first contact with people who break the law and respond to the public"s call for help, determines if crime is actually crime, lay charges, get witnesses) Sentence (if you are proven guilty judge gives you sentence) Prison (judge may decide to send u to prison fed or prov, if you are sentenced two years or more u are sent to federal prison, if two years less one day then provincial) Describes ways we see crime and deviance. Behaviors that can be deviant but not criminal. Deviance is viewed as something different or abnormal to what others are doing/people who are outside the norm and aren"t conforming.
