Belief that building resiliency will promote effective health care providers. Shown to be the strongest predictor of successful coping. Research shows that there is strong correlation between resiliency and a better quality of life (including lower anxiety and depression) Discuss strategies to build your own resiliency and growth mindset. Evidence-based coping skills : smart goal setting, visualization, self-talk, deep-breathing. Predict possible problems and walk through potential solutions. Lots of research on how breathing exercises/calming can reduce stress.
