Given them enough information for them to make a rational decision about whether or not they want to be in the study: do not give away hypothesis. As soon as they say yes, assign the subject an anonymous subject number ( e. g, s1, s2 . S8: never refer to them by name in paper (report) Between subject variable: different people in each condition. 4 in one type, 4 in the other. Language status: english as second language vs. english as first. Within subject variable: same people in each condition. One word document: include appendixes: appendix a: stimuli that were used, appendix b: raw data. Keep literally everything: email, documents, rough notes, materials.
