Females switched to luit when he defeated yereon who they originally sided with for protection. Luit goes from 25% of mating to more than 50% while yereon goes from 75% to. Yereon forms a coalition with nikkie and they depose luit. Males form coalition with females- grooming, and playing with their kids. Rats liberate their fellow peers as much as they prefer chocolate. As they see prey more and more, they form a representation of that prey, and it becomes more detailed over time. Parents would show the children what to eat but if no parent the animal has to taste it themselves and figure it out. Each food item has an energy value, an encounter rate, and handling time. Profitability of each item is energy/ handling time + search time.
