How much overlap there is between ultimate criterion and actual criterion. Needs to be sensitive in order to detect differences. If the things you are evaluated on don"t seem fair, this is an issue. The difficulty of completely and accurately capturing a criterion of interest (the ultimate criterion) with the actual criterion measures. Overlap as much as possible with the ultimate criterion. But they should not overlap with each other. You should not have multiple measures that are all getting at the same thing.
