Types of research published as a book varies. More likely to see anthropological or historical research in a book rather than economic or psychology research. However, some anthropological or historical research is published as articles/ economic or psychology research as books. More likely published as a book: social work, sociology, political science - long, detailed research. As well as: detailed clinical or ethnographic descriptions and complex theoretical or philosophical discussions. Books can bridge the scholarly, academic style, and a popular nonfiction style. Citations or references to books shorter than article citations. References include: author"s name, book title, year and place of publication, publisher"s name. Newspapers, in popular magazines, on television or radio broadcasts and in internet news summaries. However, complete report of the research is required for a lit review.
