In general the side effects of anxiolytics and hypnotics are few and usually disappear with a dose adjustment. Many of them have a direct relationship with the amount of drug administered. There are some common effects on cns that are an extension of the sedative effects themselves propios paradoxical reactions and poisoning may occur when increasing the dose. Increased aumento tolerance and the onset of dependence are one of the most important adverse effects on n bzd administration. The dependence of bzds is manifested whenever continuous consumption of more than 3 or 4 months is carried out, although its consequences depend on the dose and the characteristics of the patient In all of them there is an increase in tolerancia,a desire or need to take the medication,and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms if they are reduced sharply They have a higher risk of developing it people with a history of other type of dependence,(alcohol, opiates).
