Person who does not consider things on a continuum. Something that happens that a person thinks will repeatedly happen again. Negative outcome of interpersonal interactions are your fault. Talking to yourself as you would talk to a friend. Experiment to test validity of a thought. Ask other people questions to see if they find a person"s thoughts realistic. Take new insight to reconstructing thought and bettering them. These are used mostly to help treat depression and anxiety. Restructure beliefs and get new people to formulate their own new beliefs. Three approaches to determining the best form of psychological therapy. Taylorite (one best way to perform task) Dodo bird (everybody has won and all must have prizes) All therapies are equally effective for all disorders. Some therapies work better than others (taylorite view) Hvac view (choose the professional then pick the system) Different forms of assessment are appropriate for different disorders.
