Axiological account- can be seen as a defence of positive liberty. People must be constrained to certain desires/ liberties. Gaurdian class has to live with communal belongings. Trying to achieve a life of knowledge by placing these restraints on people. Doxological method begins with the endoxa, lists the various views people have on what hes discussing. Tries to find common ground between people"s views. Before: what accounts for the structural regularity yet obvious differences in nature. Efficient cause- can go to material, catalyst of reaction, what makes it happen. Final cause-can go to formal, catalyst of reaction, blueprint of what you want, the way in which something comes about. Four ways of explaining and investigating both natural and artificial objects.
