If you have too much serotonin, you are more likely to become aggressive, impulsive and more prone to suicidal behaviour. Affects movement, attention, memory, learning and emotion. Involved in our feelings of pleasure and reward. People who have parkinson"s disease they have a deficiency in dopamine, so to produce more dopamine they consume a drug called l-dopa. If you give a patient too much l-dopa, they often have too much dopamine, which will lead to people potentially having hallucinations (schizophrenia) Involved in learning, memory, eating, alertness, eating, reactions to stress, etc. A deficiency of norepinephrine is associated with depression. Too much of it, is associated with aggression and mania (manic episodes) When you are stressed, more of it is available. People who have anxiety disorders have too much ne in their system.
