This issue is issuing warning letters to makers of products that contain cannabidiol, also known as cbd, for marketing new drugs are not approved. Cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive compound derived from marijuana. This product can be used to treat symptoms of pain, anxiety, depression and insomnia. This is the third year in a row that the fda has issued these letters. These companies are claiming that their product can be used to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat or prevent disease while affecting the structure or function of the body.
