They all share the same structural position, and as such they will rebel. Those who have nothing compete for the minimal salary in order to survive. Hourani suggests that the basic problem with media in the united state is not that it biased (though that is a problem that result). It is for profit which is important to realize because it is to tell a story that aligns with individual political views. Advertisers will pull out if they do not like the way a story is told.
