Week 3: pregnancy at risk: multifocal, focal, generalized, treatment (1) magnesium sulfate (2) antihypertensive agents, fetal reaction to seizure, should recover when mother stabilizes, nurse patient ratio 1:1, delivery usually follows seizure after stabile. Impaired carbohydrate metabolism carbohydrate intolerance glucose during pregnancy: risks: family hx; obesity; hispanic, african-american, native american, pacific islander; older women; prior hx. Gdm; prior macrosomia; prior stillbirth; pcos; cv disease.
