• What are the light olored areas ad the dark olored areas o the Moo?
o Dark areas: maria/seas represent volcanic oceans (long cooled and
hardened)

o Near side: few very big ones, lot more maria
o Far side: much more craters, almost no maria, but lots of impact craters
