The goals are to get a general understanding of the relationships of the muscles from superficial to deep, medial to lateral. Connect these muscles with the bony landmarks discussed on tuesday to help you consider muscle actions and joint function! We will spend some time on monday in lecture taking a deeper dive into the deep gluteal region, as well as the hip joint. We will discuss additional nerves and blood vessels for this region so please don"t get caught in these details today. For today, please recognize just the superior and inferior gluteal neurovascular bundles and consider what they innervate/supply based on our introduction in lecture on.
