Document Summary
What government agencies do and why they do it: A system of government in which most of the important decisions are made by state officials rather than by elected representatives. Even though the skill of soldiers on foot (infantry) has been the key to success for milities, us army traditionally has put its best people in specialized units (intelligence, engineering, communications) and the leftovers for the infantry. The people who get favorable attention to prison executives who gave better input on (rehabilitation, prisoner self-governance) rather than the best accomplishments - safe and decent facilities. To do better, we need to deregulate the government. A leader should know the brand of the organization (stay in your lane) An organization"s purpose must be limited (you have to say no to some things) First: executives should understand their culture of their organization. What their subordinates believe constitute the core tasks of the agency and the strengths and limitation of that culture.
