(strain theory: a normal response to abnormal conditions and leads to crime, but crime is still illegitimate because they are forced into it by the strain of the situation) Capitalism is the source of most social problems. Working class leads to getting mad and are alienated. Direct and transparent link between interest of the ruling class and the laws and function of the criminal justice system. Laws are transparents, and to hold down those that are not part of the ruling class .
