It lost a lot of territory and original kingdom of hungary is broken up into smaller pieces (romania, czechoslov, yugoslav, austria) Main point: all of this means that kingdom of hungary loses over 2/3 of territory = big deal/major loss to state. With the land, agricultural, infrastructure and economic administrations are lost: an intensive diplomatic lobbying campaign ensues to persuade how unfair the treaty is for hungary, lucas l. believed this treaty was very unfair. It is undemocratic and was forced on hungary.
