Document Summary

War is the natural state of man" - moulin. First of all, as in any philosophical reflection, we have to ask ourselves several prior questions regarding the topic to be discussed, so that we know what it is that we want to analyze. War is usually defined as the breakdown of social status through force. The breakdown of the social norms of transaction and dialogue that this entails. And it is that, although it is difficult to understand for many, war is one of the main characteristics of civilization. As the spanish philosopher gustavo bueno argued, contrasting war and peace as savage and civilized is a mistake. There are no wars as such in nature. It is a deeply human phenomenon closely related to what we are and the development that, as a species, we have managed to achieve. War is a brutal and dangerous process but one that is part of our species.
