Cultural humility = continual process of self awareness about one"s own culture and the acknowledgment of the requirement that we approach others as equals with respect for their prevailing beliefs and cultural norms. Cultural imposition = placing cultural values upon others and expects them to be have accordingly. Cultural safety = environment in which individuals believe that their culture is valued and respected.
