Distinction between work" and rest": some jews de ne work" and rest" based on jewish law (halakhah) . Monday, october 31, 2016: electricity, spending money, cooking, writing, driving. Rest: napping, singing, playing games, studying torah, visiting friends, some jews de ne work" and rest" based on their own experiences . Work: homework, chores, going to a job. Rest: watching movies, playing games, visiting friends, some jews use a mix of both de nitions. Things that are speci cally jewish in some way. Some people"s religion is more spiritual and cannot be gained by objects.
